I am awoken to soft kisses on my shoulder, and I smile as Mark breathes into my neck, “Hey, it’s time to wake up.” He calls into my ear. My body shudders in delight at his touch and I sigh, “Can’t I just skip school and you stay here with me,” I say rolling over.

Mark smiles and pulls me onto his chest, “No. I have to go to New York. The investors need a meeting.” I sigh and he kisses my forehead, “I am still working on the security detail. I take your safety very seriously so I am hand-picking them. Even though I am not fond of Derrick or the rest of your friends, I think they can keep an eye on you while I am gone.”
