“I am coming with you.”

“No, you are not strong enough. You—”

“I said, I'm coming with you.” I touched his shoulders.

“Alright, stay alert.”

I watched him go ahead first wondering if he even realized that I had compelled him. I studied his back, there were tears which meant they got him too but how did he get rid of the poison?

“Aren’t you coming again?” He turned around and asked.

“Yeah yeah, I am. I just got lost in my head. Let's go.” I nudged him to keep going, this time I followed closely behind, making sure I left my ears open for any suspicious movement.
