They picked up the pace and within minutes had Josiah and Mark surrounded. Ashur shifted back as Josiah and Mark stood back to back. “Oh thank goddess, it’s only you, Ashur.” Josiah said having at first being afraid that it might have been Grande. “Only me?” Ashur questioned a little puzzled. “I was afraid for a moment that it was Grande from Shaba’s pack.” He answered.

“Well then, does that mean you are going to come easy or are we going to have to do this the hard way?” Ashur asked. Josiah turned his head slightly to look at Mark. Mark nodded in response. “The hard way it is.” Ashur said as some of the wolves started to snarl and move in closer. A few had shifted back to their human form.

Mark and Josiah braced themselves and got in their fighting stance. Ashur nodded and five men approached followed by five more. Sally and Elaine stood there and watched as punches were being thrown and connecting with faces and stomachs. The same could be said for kicks.
