Matilda woke up to the sound of scurrying. She sat straight up and asked Josie, “What’s wrong?” “Nothing, I am just late for my watch.” She says. “What time is it?” “Almost 3 in the morning.” “Mine starts in an hour. I might as well get up and make some coffee. What point you at?” “West, by the river.” Josie tells her. “I’ll being you a cup.” “That would be great. See you in a few.” Josie says heading out the door.

Each trained warrior was taking a four-hour shift. With John’s pack and Adelaide’s there was enough so only each warrior had to pull one 4-hour shift in a day. They also are alternating times for each point. Every 2 hours shift change was happening. This was agreed upon to try and deceive any enemies lurking about.
