CHAPTER TWENTY

RICHARD'S POV

The place looked deserted, there was no visible sign of life around.

"Are you sure this is the place?"

"Yes sir" the lanky man with a gruff beard standing next to me replied.

I signaled for my men to move forward and with drawn weapons, they treaded the concrete until they took their positions, ready to start the show.

I could see the trepidation in the way they moved, their weapons shook in their hands and I wanted to slap them silly for letting fear rule them. The truth is, they had every single right to be afraid. They'd seen what those assassins can do. They'd removed the butchered remains of their brothers and friends from a delivery box, some of them had even cleaned up the mess in my home a few days ago and we didn't even know how many others were present in the warehouse.
