Lily saw her sitting on one of the chairs located at the porch. She was trying to find her after they had settled. But doubt is whispering to her saying she should not disturb Maridelle, who by the time is looking pensive. Shrugging the whisper, Lily’s feet prance towards her.

“What’s wrong?” Lily pulled one chair and sat adjacent to her. “I was looking for you. You haven’t eaten your dinner. You must be so hungry. You know we had a long tiring day.”

Lily does not want to tire her even more with her verbosity. But Lily finds it necessary to speak some words. However, Maridelle just stared at her for few seconds before she returned to her own thoughts.

Lily gave off a deep long sigh. Maybe it was Maridelle’s peace that she needed the most and not her company. “I am sorry. I should not have disturbed you.
