Years have passed.

So many seasons, so many generations, since I became the king of the Fae and yet I wait, I wait for the day promised to me.

It was a usual day in the magic realm, I sat on the twenty inch thick tree branch that extended long enough to meet with the tree on the other side, thus making a small bridge in mid-air.

Over the years my hair had grown quite long. They reach till my back now and when I look at myself in the mirror I can see how much I resemble my late mother.

I had my eyes closed as I hummed a melody and some of the birds chipped in. The forest trees swayed gently along with the hums and created a soft breeze.
