Laura watched as Ned approached, then subtly moved beside him unnoticed. Leaning in close to his ear, she said with a playful smile, "You're behind this, aren't you?"

Ned initially didn't own up to his actions. "What are you talking about?" he replied casually, looking at Laura.

"Oh, come on, how could his arm just break like that out of the blue? I know your handiwork; you must have used some magic," Laura teased, giving Ned a playful tap on the back.

Ned decided to stop teasing her further. "So what if it was me? Who let him always get touchy-feely with you? What, are you feeling sorry for him now that he's hurt?"

Laura rolled her eyes at him. "I can't stand him either, you know. He is just like a clingy bug, always sticking to me, impossiblly to get shake off," she sighed.

Ned couldn't help but laugh at Laura's complaint. Giving him a glance, Laura continued, "Anyway, let's get back to work. In our free time, we'll explore the castle, see if we can find any clues about that old guy
