My new prison

Isabella's Point of view

A strained moan escaped from my lips, as I wriggled my body from side to side. I could feel an electrifying pain surge from all around my body, with the nightmare I had too vague to remember and my mind flushed up in a damn haze.

I took a quick look at my surroundings, that's when I realized I wasn't in my own bedroom, nor was I in the middle of the woods where I last remembered. The environment looked very foreign to me. I was in an immensely large room, sprawled upon a big and soft king sized bed. A gigantic window draped with thick black curtains, preventing any ray of light from seeping in. The only source of lights were lamps and candles that lit up in the room.

Where in the hell was I? Was I somehow... Dead? And was wherever this was the afterlife? I quickly pinched myself on the arm just to see if I was indeed dead or alive and to my dismay it hurted like a bitch. Not dead… So not dead.

So I was still very much alive. The last thing I could remember was
