Isabelle's Point Of View

I was beyond restless. My legs couldn't stop pacing back and forth in my room. My mind was agonized by the thoughts of how Dimitri was doing, the lunar eclipse had already begun and up until now there was no news from anyone, everywhere remained silent.

I heard a loud roar and howling penetrate through the wall of my chamber. At every painful howl, I felt a deep pain inside, as if something in my chest was being ripped out. I knew that the howls were coming from Dimitri, he had somehow escaped from the cave. His howls sounded so desperate, almost like a broken cry for help. He was in pain, I could feel it.

I made a choice to completely disregard the promise I made to Dimitri yesterday morning. I couldn't possibly just sit in my room and do nothing, that wasn't a bloody option. I needed to find him.

I stormed out of the pack house and deep into the black night. The moon was overtaken by darkness, giving evil the power to roam free.
