Adan “So, how did your fitting go today?” I spread dip on a cracker and took a bite. She was right. It was delicious. Brenna “Are you ready for the big day, Princess?” Asana asked, arriving early in my condo the following day. “As ready as I’ll ever be.” I stood back and opened the door wide for her and the crew to come in when suddenly a huge yawn escaped my lips. “I’m sorry, but I didn’t get much sleep last night.” A broad smile spread across Asana’s lips. “Ah! Brenna Watching the clock, I counted down the seconds until the clock struck seven. Butterflies beat their wings against the inside of my stomach, knowing this was it. I reached for the door, when someone knocked on the other side. I opened it and gasped. For standing on the other side was Adan, dressed in a black tuxedo, a white shirt, and silver cufflinks. His black hair was combed to perfection, and he looked gorgeous. Brenna “They’re playing our song.” Adan glanced over at me and smiled as he held out his hand. “Would you like to dance?” “I’d love to,” I replied, placing my hand in his. For an Alpha, he had such a gentle touch when he wanted to but was strong at other times. I had to admit. I’d never met anyone quite like him before. On the dance floor, he placed one hand on my back and raised the other causing my heart to flutter. I took his hand and slid the other over his shoulder. Brenna “I hope you know what you’re doing.” Magenta raised an eyebrow. “He expects me to be the Pack Luna and Queen in name only without any real power.” I shrugged. “I want more.
