Chapter 25 His Brutal Bite

I stared at James in shock and bewilderment as he continued to tell me about Jonathan. "He isn't even explaining to me why he lied to you, but he genuinely loves you, Mia. He has been living like a dead soul for the past two months. He needs you, and Mia, only you can help him.”

'How come I didn't think of Jonathan? I was so self-centred that I blamed and despised him for abandoning me and lying to me. I never tried to contact him or ask him why he abandoned me.' I closed my eyes and mentally chastised myself because my love was suffering more than I was, and it was all my fault.

"James, I need to talk to him. Please take me to him.” I was dying to meet Jonathan, so I frantically begged James. I hadn't seen him in two months. For me, living without him was like living without a heart.

My desire to meet him grew, even more, stronger after knowing that he needed me.
