The last few hours were but a blurry haze. My life had been completely turned upside down. How is it a being can feel so high only to be dropped so low within such a short time span? It almost seemed unrealistic. But as I stared out the window looking at the beautiful white and fluffy clouds as the sun streamed through them, I was reminded that it was all too real.

I had only imagined the sun in my dreams, and that did it no justice at all. Never did I think someone like me would enjoy its warmth, and yet, there I was.
