But then, she sensed the haughty shadow behind her. The shadow seemed to carry an unfamiliar scent.

Her senses were heightened as she found out she was being followed along the deserted bush.

She could hear the echo of footsteps, it rang in her ears that were fast picking up any sounds coming from her surroundings.

The stores were irregular and had been crafted to synchronize with hers so she wouldn't notice as the person might have found out what she was, she thought.

Glancing over her shoulder casually with a face bearing untold disgusts from the suspicion, caught glimpses of a shadow darting from one alley to another behind her.

She increased her pace, subtly but swiftly without alerting her follower and in the twinkle of an eye, she seemed to have disappeared.

Lucien stood in the middle of the path, lost as to where she could have disappeared to, but also curious as to her rank in the werewolf world to possess such finely trained skills.
