Curry Favor With The Council

TWO DAYS LATER…

“Hello?”

“Son, it kind of hurts to know you don’t have my number saved in your phone,”

Alexander gritted his teeth and fought the urge to end the call immediately.

“Do you need anything?” He asked coldly.

“I hear Mr. Finn and you have a meeting today, I don’t know what it’s about but you know I and his father have been old friends so make sure you—”

“ I will do whatever I want to because it is my decision to make,”

His plan was already in motion, he didn’t need his father’s approval for everything anymore.

“Now if you’ll excuse, I’m really busy,”

Alexander couldn’t explain the satisfaction he got from ending the call but it was slowly replaced with anger.

The second Alexander brought his phone down from his ear, his expression darkened instantly and there was the sound of something getting snapped.

Alexander looked down at the broken pen on his desk, he unclenched his fist to see just how much damage it had done. He clenched his jaw tighter than it already
