Everybody Dies

Rain’s head hurt. They didn’t let her leave the room.

Not until she was ‘Fully recovered’ as both Nicholas and Romeo had said.

It had been almost a week since she woke up in this bed and apart from the occasional bathroom breaks she got from the bed and maybe whenever she decided she was tried of laying down and doing nothing, she hadn’t moved from that room.

It came as a shock to her that he gave his room to her but she also felt a hint—emphasis on ‘hint’—of gratitude towards the man. Yet, Alexander being Alexander hadn’t come to see her even once.

Of course she knew he was a busy man but still, she saved his fucking life…and almost died while doing it by the way, she at least deserved a bit of gratitude from the man did she not?

Maybe she was just thinking too much about it, maybe she was expecting way too much from him.
