Chapter 20: Dilemma

"It's never a good idea to return to the place where you were captured. You could be caught again." Kaynon commented as they slowed their pace to a cautious crawl, reaching her backyard.

"We'll be fine. Besides, I told you I did not want your help." Cilyna retorted, sneaking up to the shed's entrance.

"Why are we here anyway?" Kaynon asked as he stood watch while she disappeared into the shadows.

"I needed to grab a few things that I forgot earlier." She answered, returning with a crowbar and a sledge hammer held tightly between her jaws.

"You came back here earlier? And what could you possibly need that for?" He questioned, eyeballing her choice of tools.
