“It has to be someone who knew about our plan.” Reed suddenly said, lifting the silence that’s settled over the room. I jerked at his voice, head tilting to look at him as I tried to make sense of his words. Well, he had a point.

“Could it be someone from your office?”

Something snapped in me at his tone, nostrils flaring as he eyed the closed door with a thoughtful look. I strode closer and crossed my arms together, glaring at his side. Granted that most of them didn’t like me in the office, but I am still their boss. They have been working for my family for years, and I don’t think anyone would do something so hurtful.
