Rosemary’s Pov

“Come…let me take you inside” before I could start walking , he bends over and carries me like a bride – like his bride. I felt my cheeks heat up and I planted my face to his chest. I was worried that I had been too heavy for him to carry , but he did not seem to be having a hard time. When we get inside the stables , he takes me to the biggest hay stack there and lays me down gently.

“I will be right back” he tells me before dashing out of the stables. He returns with Cherrie trailing behind him , before putting her in her stable. He then brings a blanket with him and lays down next to me , and afterwards covering us both with it. We lay there in complete silence , just listening to the rain fall against the stables roof. This silence is so comforting , just being with him brings me so much of peace.
