The lust demons that didn't respond to her calling turned the tables on them. The fighting got renewed and now the angels and werewolves were losing. But Veronica could not turn back, not when Geronimo was right in front of her. The bastard looked the same as he did the last she saw him, albeit with a smug grin on his face.

"You're looking well, V." he greeted unaffectedly as the incubi he brought to the battle continued to spread out. Veronica cringed at how he called her, remembering LJ.

"I see you decided to be Asmodeus' lap dog since I left," she commented.

Geronimo let out a low growl, as she predicted, "You didn't leave, Veronica. You got captured. There's a difference. Did you really think that just by playing house with them, the angels would consider you one of them? You must be getting deluded in your old age."
