"But, darling," Calysta said before deciding to actually follow her husband's wishes, something suddenly stuck. It had been there all along but she had been holding back.

"What's wrong?" asked Austin without losing his concentration.

"I feel like you've been distant today." Calysta sulked a little. Her tone was spoiled and she gazed wistfully at the man by her side. Slightly clinging to Austin's arm while trying not to disturb him from controlling the steering wheel.

"Far away?" asked Austin with a frown on his forehead. "I'm right here, Calysta."

"Even I realized that my nickname changed." Calysta frowned in displeasure. "Something bothering you?"

Austin glanced at his wife's figure who was still faithfully clinging to his arm. Usually Austin didn't mind and was even happy with Calysta's attitude like this. As if he was very useful to her. Needed and able to protect Calysta.
