THREAD FORTY: GUNSHOT

“AH!!!” Meredith screamed when she opened her eyes, she find Randall next to her on the bed.

“Ouch!” Randall groaned as he fell onto the bed after being kicked by Meredith.

She quickly wrapped the comforter around her body. “What exactly are you doing in my bed, huh? Don’t tell me—”

“Hey! I didn’t do anything to you. You should thank me instead because I was the one who looked after you when you were having a nightmare. I even offered my arm to be your pillow yet you’re accusing me of something I didn’t do?” he complained.

She stops for a moment to feel her body and nothing hurt except her eyes.

“I-I had a nightmare?” She asked.

Randall nodded. “You were crying and screaming so I held you close until you fell asleep on my shoulder.”

So that explains why her eyes are puffy. She suddenly felt guilty for kicking him without knowing the truth first that’s why she helped him stand up to sit him down on the bed.

“S-sorry,” she sincerely apologized.
