“IF YOU don’t want to get hurt, give me your bag!” the thief whispered, making Meredith to stiffen in her position.

She tightened her grip on her bag because it contained the money she had saved for a month to pay off some of her father’s debt. Their boss gives them tips for their hard work at the café, that’s why they are all blessed so she had saved a lot somehow. The fog that night was cold, but she was sweating because of the danger she was facing right now.

“P-please, have mercy on me. I have a lot of debt to pay,” she pleaded. The grace period given to them is next week. What to do?
