Celine POV

'I won't spare you if you do anything stupid with Bryant' Those words felt like a dagger cutting through my chest and ripping my heart off. As much as it hurts that I won't be seeing Bryant often because I've been trying to keep my distance from him, I couldn't help it. I need to stay alive, if not for anything but for the sake of my brother. We've already lost our parents and I can't allow him to be all alone in this world again. I know the pain we went through when we lost Dad.

It has been two days since the incident, and earlier this morning, Alpha Kayla left for the Pack after he got an urgent call that something came up there. I was curious to know if it was the normal Pack-to-pack war, but who the heck was I to ask him if I was not ready to write my death sentence? My time seeing Bryant since these few days have been limited, and although I miss him so much and desperately want to see him, I tried not to forget that I needed to keep my distance from him.
