What was I supposed to do with their issue? was all that lingered in my head as soon as the dwarf tried to stop me from leaving.
I had enough of almost every circumstance telling me that I was significant and I was supposed to fulfill a major duty to save the supernaturals. We rushed outside of the cottage and trailed behind Lucas. My heart pounded tremendously and my mind was in an uproar as I thought about the warlock spotting us here in the bayou. As soon as we reached the middle of the village, I held my breath and roamed my eyes around to find the warlock. Most of the werewolves were out of their cottages and they didn’t seem bothered—I wondered if they knew a warlock was here.
