“Where here” Ian announced.

I dropped my arms, licking my dry lips as I looked at everything but the man beside me.

“Where?” I questioned, looking around.

In front of us is a restaurant.

Those kinds you couldn’t get into without a reservation and they always tend to be fully booked, their nearest availability being weeks away.

The super fancy kind.

I turned to him with wide eyes. “They’ll never let me in looking like this” I was wearing flip flops for goodness sake.

He shrugged in response and opened his door.

Releasing a breath, I did the same, I suppose if they turned us away I would only be embarrassed for the next decade of my life.

No biggie.

The hostess was unable to hide her revolution at the sight of my outfit, I didn’t blame her, I was ruining the front for their fine establishment, and my old sweater did not match the decor.
