Part Seventy-Four

Hunter hadn’t said anything to Lev’s comment about liking feisty women. He would realize soon enough that she was well equipped to deal with any situation as it arose. She was good at reading people, something she shared with Gage.

Lev didn’t seem like the typical Russian mafia man either. His eyes spoke of intelligence, the same intelligence she’d seen in that proposal he’d given Dominic. This man knew what he wanted and how to get it.

The door to Lev’s office opened again and Nikita stepped inside. He had a bandage over his nose where the skin had been broken and he had the tell-tale raccoon eyes of someone who’s nose had been broken.

“Nikita, I’d like to formally introduce you to Hunter Vittori.”

Nikita looked at Hunter where she now stood in front of the large windows. She smiled at him and he gritted his teeth. Never before in his life had a woman taken him down, it took three of Lev’s men to take him to the floor when they trained and she’d done it in seconds.
