Chapter 62: Not Going Home

"Why do you look like sh*t?" Dalmi bent her knees and peeked through his side. She stopped right in front of him, but the man kept on mumbling things in his side, refusing to look at her.

Her eyes squinted to the messy bar counter. Numerous bottles of liquors are on the tabletop, two bottles are on the ground, and there was a shot glass beside Carden's foot.

"You really drank all of this? Are you insane?" she repeated. Now, Carden slowly turned his head. As if he saw a ghost, his eyes widened.

"W-wife? Why are you here? Aren't you angry at me?" he asked and removed his arms from his knees.

He poured all his attention to the woman whom he wasn't able to see for almost a week. Dalmi was wearing a plaid gray polo and skirt with a white inner. Her hair hanged loosely on her back, and her eyes directed at him.

"You...you are not angry anymore?" he immediately stood and went close to her. One foot was standing on the ground, and his other knee still on the floor,
