Preparing for the Raid

My heart was hammering fast, I was slowly running out of air in my lungs but I didn't stop. My legs couldn't. It's been hours now and I still can't stop running. Atleast with this I can clear my head and burn off this steam and suffocation from last night.

    It's daylight already, still at the morning hours, the sun is beaming brightly, but it's warmth not reaching my depth. The memory of everything that happened last night always sent piercing icicle into my heart. 

     I can't believe the stupid notion Cameron has that avoiding me could solve anything, much less keep me safe. I guess I'm still angry and yes, since this morning Cameron has been avoiding me and it's heartbreaking to bear.

    I swallowed the lump in my throat, sensing an incoming danger. Quickly I turned around, blocking the incoming attack.
