After evening classes, Taylor and I strode along the tree-lined pathway with our arms full of books as we headed to the dormitory. Students were scattered around the grassy area, chatting and laughing.

"So, I was wondering why Nova is so popular and you are so chill and laid-back. You don't even act like the king's daughter," Taylor said, and my mind wrestled for a good answer.

"I prefer my privacy. It's creepy to know that people watch my every move. "

"Makes sense," she said after taking another sip from her soda, bouncing as she walked. "I kind of wish I had a sibling or two, you know?" she said quietly, and I felt a pang of guilt, knowing that my family was far from perfect.

Walking into our hall, we heard a loud voice like a commotion, and the sound of a girl crying.

"Oh, these stupid girls, they always fight all the time," Taylor said
