DIMITRI My mind checks out of what Zarek is rambling beside me the moment my eyes finds Lynexia from across the road, seated in the passenger's seat of my car. DIMITRI My frustration has mounted to the roof four days later. Lynexia is still a shell of herself and it's driving me crazy. The light in her eyes has snuffed out. Worse, I don't know what to do about it. For the past four days, all she has done is take breakfast. LYNEXIA The moment Dimitri steps out of the bathroom, the silence tightens around me like a vise. The men' voices rushes into ny head, haunting me. The memories of what happened threatens to drown me over. Their hands groping me, their slimy eyes roaming around my body, and their cackles when I scream for help. LYNEXIA As Julianne opens the door, her eyes meet mine, and I see the guilt from the other day etched clearly on her face. Her eyes are swollen as if she's been crying. I manage a small smile. "Hey."
