Chapter 38— Emotions getting into the way

"I am fine, you don't have to worry," Rosalie drew out and pulled the door open. "You should go mum, don't worry about me."

"Rosalie," Pamela shook her head and sighed. She wasn't close to her daughter anymore and she could only watch.

"Bye," Rosalie stated and Pamela finally walked out.

"Take care of yourself," Pamela said and Rosalie nodded. She watched her mum go down the lift before she shut the door. At once, she flopped to the sofa.

Oh heavens. She was tired. Alexander's words kept re-echoing in her head. He… he didn't deny the fact that he was going to get engaged to Sophia.

She sniffed and reached for her phone. She wanted to ask questions. She wanted to know what was going on. Her hands impulsively kept clicking on the phone as her thoughts ate her deep.

Why was he getting engaged to Sophia? She thought they had something. He cherished and cared for her, what was going on?

Perhaps because Sophia was his class. She was lesser than his status. He definitely should cherish Sophi
