Betrayed

He dropped the shirt back on the floor, sighing before trying to push his way into Aidan's room, but unlike Atlas's, it was locked.

He wasn't in the pack house; he was heading back to his wing when an Omega rushed to him, "Alpha Tristan, you seem lost," she genuflected before him.

Inwardly he was surprised, for most times, they ran from him. He was the Alpha who stayed in the dark and walked around the pack house without noticing any of them.

To them, he was a ghost, so what happened?

He nodded, looking over her head, and asked, "Did you in any way find Alpha Atlas?"

She nodded again. "I saw him holding a dagger walking outside. I don't know where he went," she shrugged, "but since then, I've been looking for you to tell you to be careful."

That was it then; the unsettling feeling that had tugged at his stomach since then meant that Atlas was up to nothing good.

"Thank you," he mentally reminded himself to thank her properly later when he sorted out what all of this nonsense was.
