Sonia stirred in Alberto's arms, gradually opening her eyes to find him already gazing at her.

"Good morning," he greeted, pushing her hair back with a gentle smile.

"Morning," she mumbled, rubbing her eyes sleepily.

He leaned in to kiss her forehead affectionately. "You're going to be late for work."

"Oh, shoot! What time is it?" She quickly sat up, feeling a sense of urgency.

"Relax, it's still early," he reassured, chuckling softly.

"Okay, I'll go make breakfast then," she sighed, while Alberto headed for a shower.

As Sonia prepared pancakes in the kitchen, Alberto quietly entered and wrapped his arms around her from behind. She leaned back against him, comforted by his embrace, and a smile formed on her lips.

"Can we talk about something serious?" he asked, his voice filled with a mix of excitement and nervousness.

Her eyebrows furrowed with surprise. "What is it?"
