Chapter 49: The note

I never expected to read the note above my bed. It came from Ares and he wanted to see me in his office. He wanted to talk to me about something, about us. I just couldn't believe it, and now I'm stuck between going or just ignoring it. My heart was telling me that I should follow the note that he wrote but my mind was telling me that I will only fool myself again.

“No, I will not see him.”

I crushed the note and threw it in the trashcan before laying on the bed. I looked at the ceiling and the alpha's image flashed into my memory again. He doesn't want to leave my head, especially those words that I've read. Ares put a time in there when to come but I stayed on the bed. It's already an hour yet I couldn't decide what to do.

I couldn't decide if I should see him or not but my heart says I should go. My heart was telling me that there's no wrong with trying. Ares wanted to tell me about something and now is the chance to know if he felt something for me. This is now my chance
