BLESSING IN DISGUISE

Alex went stiff when he heard Shantal and before he could even do something about it, he saw Shantal approaching him with wide strides.

Then she forcefully took the perfume out from Alex's hand.

"Does this look like a cleaning solution to you?"

Shantal spat those words through her gritted teeth because, among all the other perfumes in her collection, Alex happened to pick and used her favorite.

"It clearly says here in the label, Eue de Parfum!"

She said stressing out on each word as if she wanted to implant it straight into Alex's brain.

"You suppose to know how to read. Is your common sense broken?! Can't you tell just by the smell?"

Shantal's voice was raising an octave higher the more she spoke. It seemed that seeing her beloved perfume going to waste agitated her more than anything else in the house.
