It's been two weeks since I became 'friends' with Ethan, and our relationship has improved. Though it was not much, it was better. I now made Ethan's coffee every morning and saw him off to work. He texted me if he had business meetings that would make him come back late. Then, of course,the sex was great too, and there was a level of intimacy between us that I sometimes found myself anticipating. We were not in love or something, but we were able to tolerate each other in the marriage while taking on responsibilities as parents.

Currently,I am in the kitchen, cooking dinner. It is the first time I have entered the kitchen to prepare something after almost four months of staying here. It was after I agreed to let two other maids, apart from Lawrenta, assist me in the kitchen that Butler Jenkins could allow me to cook in the kitchen.
