A lot had change. A lot was different about her. Marcello keenly observed the CCTV footage, never shifting his eyes away from her weak form. She had been tortured beyond reason, broken to the bones, he could almost see her sanity; breaking, little cracks and faults, falling apart, bit by bit, but still, she was still holding on. The woman alone had the willpower of a ten strong men. She wouldn't give a slight hint as to where she had hidden the child. He wasn't with any of her family members; not even the extended ones.

For the main time, he was moving heaven and earth to find the detective. He had heard from Serena that she was with him when they'd found her, but he had just disappeared.
