Alpha Asher
Right from the moment she left my room in anger, my wolf took over me. He punished me severely while growling in anger until I felt nothing but pain.
I sat on the bed, trying to put myself together after such torment, hoping that she would return to scold me again like she has been doing, but I wasn't able to see her until three hours elapsed.
Fear gripped me that she hasn't shown up since I know that the security was too tight for her to leave, not because I was feeling guilty or that I'm beginning to feel for her….but I'm scared of what my wolf would do to me next because of her.
I decided to go see her myself, she needs to take the herbs in order for her wolf to heal and aid in healing the wound….and the bandage on her head needs to be changed too.
I fling the door open but came in sight with Kayla, she pushed me backwards into the room and shut the door back.
Arguing with her this time is what I don't want, since we haven't settled the first misunderstanding we had because of Reyna.
She locked up the door.
"You shouldn't…You shouldn't lock the door when I have something to do now." I stuttered like a kid.
She walked closer to me, her hands folded against her chest. "Isn't it time to tell me who she is? Who's that slut?" She thundered.
I bit my lips in anger. I don't go easy on anyone, but I always try to control my temper when it comes to Kayla.
She has been my lover for three years now, and I wouldn't want to lose her when I'm up to making her my Luna.
"If at all you want to know who she is, you wouldn't have crossed the line. You would have thrown every question at me first." I replied to her, but in a polite manner.
She faked a smile while pacing round the room. "I didn't cross the boundary, I only taught her a big lesson she wouldn't forget that easily."
"Do you even know how much it cost me to treat her bleeding head? And what of the three days she was unconscious?" I gritted my teeth, fuming in anger.
She stood still this time watching me, her eyes widened and mouth agape.
"Perhaps, you shouldn't be here that day. And you appeared from nowhere to cause trouble." I yelled at her.
She shook her head. "But her fall was an accident, I wasn't the reason behind it."
"You are…" I slammed back at her. "You messed up the ground and it slipped her off."
"Okay, when did you start caring about other people? Aren't you the devil that I know any longer? And I just hate that Scumbag….."
"We are talking about my mate here,Kayla." The anger in me was burning like a fire. "Watch your tongue."
I didn't mind sparing her a glance again, I moved to the door, unlocked it and walked out.
At that point, I just want to set my eyes on Reyna, I want to be sure that she is still around and okay. Despite being my breeder, she doesn't need to die, because if she does, Kayla won't give me a child.
If only Kayla isn't barren, I wouldn't be doing this to Reyna. But since the witch doctor confirmed that she can't conceive any longer, I had to look for another way of having a child while she will still be crowned as my Luna.
That's exactly why Reyna will leave after giving me a child, I'll have nothing else to do with her.
I reached her room and knocked several times but didn't get a response. It was already dark yet she hadn't shown up.
All the maids were busy, including the one I sent out of my room, so I believed that she should be alone.
Seconds turned to minutes yet I heard not her voice, I pushed the door open and walked into the room but it was empty.
"Reyna Adams…" I called out, moving to the bathroom.
I quivered in shock when I saw no one there. Thoroughly, I searched the room but she wasn't hiding anywhere around the room.
My head burstead. I felt that I was going crazy as I dashed out of the room and hooked up the guard I met instantly.
"Where is she?"
The guard glanced around. "Where is Reyna?" I shrieked at him.
My voice was loud enough that the other guards heard it and began searching for her around the palace.
I felt like I would die at any minute if she didn't show up.
Kayla walked out of the room and met me at the passageway, she stretched her lips and stood immobile staring at me.
"Who is she? Why are you looking for her?"
The reply to that question would have been a thunderous slap if it was another person.
"Fuck you!!!" I cursed her and left.
I moved to my chamber, scratching my head repeatedly when a guard walked in. "We've searched for her around the palace but she wasn't captured. Not even her shadow was seen."
I walked closer to him and punched his face. "She is nowhere around the palace, and you still have the audacity to stand before me and tell me that." I walked out heading to meet the other guards. I made sure that they all received a heavy punch on their faces as a punishment for not being secure enough.
"I'm very disappointed to have Assholes as my guards. Make sure that Reyna is back to this palace or you all will face hell." I threatened them and I meant it.
They all disappeared from my sight while I walked back to my room.
Even the seats became too hot for me to sit, my heart was pounding heavily beyond my control, and I'd confess that this is the first time and being bothered because of someone…an omega for that matter.
I am so cold hearted that one can die on my feet and I'll walk ahead without glancing backwards. But here I am, running helter-skelter because of a mere lady that disappeared from the palace.
"She's not just a mere lady, don't forget that." My wolf reminded me.
I already forgot that she's his mate, I'll never accept her as a mate. My wolf can do that himself, such a low rank disgusting wolf can't be my mate.
After several minutes of waiting for the guards, I decided to go out in search of her also or I won't be able to sleep.
I took off to my heel, running ahead until I transformed into an Alpha midnight wolf, running into the woods while the guards took different directions.
Since I was in my wolf form, it was easy for me to see in the darkness…I could also sense the presence of anything around me.
My wolf was a very fast one, so I made sure to dart my yellow eyeballs around the woods so I won't pass by her.
A disgusting sound hit my ear, causing me to stop running. I began glancing around in search of where the sound came from, since it was vivid that it's a cougar.
The wolves and cougars, also known as mountain lions, are a kind of enemy. They are stronger than wolves and don't hesitate to devour any that they see.
Now, I'm scared that the cougar will trap her since she's too weak. I could also sense her around, so I followed the scent in order to meet her.
Before my eyes, I saw her about to escape when the cougar that had been roaring jumped higher and landed its Claws on her back, leaving a deep scratch.
I lifted my head and howled aloud in order to call the attention of the guards, and as well, the cougar let go of Reyna and jumped towards me.
Reyna I groaned in pain when I felt the deep scratch from the mountain lion before I slumped to the floor. The cloth I was putting on soaked up with blood, and I could see the cougar coming forward while licking it's mouth in hunger.I already counted myself amongst the dead, maybe, I'm not fated to live that long like our older parents. My heart was beating so fast, I kept shifting backwards while the cougar moved forward. A loud howl echoed in the woods all of a sudden, causing the cougar to jump backwards. Behold was an Alpha wolf howling aloud with its head upwards. I was lost in thought. "Who could that be? No Alpha would be in the woods by this time. It's very late already."While the wolf was raising an alarm, I heard footsteps in a run heading to the place we were, and the cougar had already pounced on the wolf.I was so weak to stand up, or that would have been an opportunity for me to leave. Seated on the floor, I watched as the cougar fought the Alpha wolf that was ext
ReynaMinutes elapsed after the Prince left my room but I haven't gotten back myself. His voice kept repeating itself in my head making my heartbeat fast. What matters now is my mother, I don't need to lose that woman like my father, and she isn't supposed to suffer because of me."But why did I even turn his request down when I've been longing to leave?" That question popped into my head, I gasped in shock.I think this is the opportunity for me to leave this pack, I don't need to lose my mother because of the Alpha king. "Leaving will only worsen things for us, remember that he's not as cruel as Alpha Asher." My wolf whispered to me.Oh my gosh! When on earth will my wolf collide with any of the suggestions? She keeps turning down anything I say since we found ourselves in Denver Pack. I scratched my head. "Prince Hayden is up to something, and mere looking at him reveals how serious he is.""But the king won't let him carry out his plans, so you shouldn't worry." My wolf snapped
ReynaMy eyes met with that of Kayla who kept glaring at me, I glanced at the king who wasn't even ready to say a word. She left the doorpost and walked closer to us, dragged me by my hand and pushed me away from the king. Her eyes were burning like a fire that I became scared of what's going to happen next."It has reached this extent, you fucking kissed…""Stop that please, I never kissed him. He did, and I wouldn't stop him." I blurted, cutting short of her sentence. She walked closer to me and landed a heavy slap on my face that I felt the room rotating. I stood immobile for a while trying to get back myself when she dragged my hair and yanked it so hard.I couldn't bear the pain any longer, so I gripped her clothes and tore it separately, then pushed her away from me with the little strength in me.The king released a loud hiss and drew her backwards, his glares on her weren't heavy, but the look on his face revealed how annoyed he was."You must take your eyes off her, and do
Alpha Asher I had to leave the mansion because I still couldn't stand Reynas' presence there. I thought of the first time I saw her, the emptiness I felt but yet there was a need to protect her. Last night was a bit tough because of the nightmares that were piling up in my head. In the world we live in, there was only pain and suffering. What I didn't get was why I still felt a bit concerned. She agreed to be my breeder and yet I was in conflict with what I was feeling. I have only known exhaustion since she arrived here but I needed to look for ways to keep her tethered and close to my reach. Ever since Hayden had shown himself in the mansion,I knew that chaos was looming. He was my brother and he was on the run for the same thing I own, the same thing I'm craving to have for myself fully. The last time I saw them together, jealousy was eating me up from inside. What they were talking about was dark to me because the room I kept in Reyna was sound proof, no words that we might ha
Reyna The smell of antiseptic filled my sense of smell, I rushed every breath because everything was not making sense. My memory was foggy but I tried to make sense of where I was. The only thing I know is that my room doesn't smell like antiseptic. Everywhere felt so dreamy, was light headed as I blinked the blur out of my vision. I tried to swallow but I felt a pain in my throat, I could hardly move my body. There was pain all over my body. It was a good sign because it means that I was alive. I turned to my sides and saw him with fear dancing in his eyes. "You are awake?" He whispered, holding my hands close to his chin. I tried to sit up again but the pain shone across my body. I winced. "Don't try to sit up, you are still recovering." "What…what happened?" Hearing myself break my own words made me even curious. "You do not have to bother yourself with it. You were hurt and you are fine." "No…no…what happened? Where am…I?" I was still trying so hard to jog my memory. Ever
Alpha Asher Something was not right. It was what kept me uneasy. No matter how I tried, I couldn't shake off the feeling. I was watching her day and night, to know she was alright but it seemed not to be enough. Reyna that came to live with me was outgoing and ready to fight for what she believed in. She had a fire that was sparkling that defined who she was. That was the lady I brought in to have my children whom I'm hoping would come soon, but when I stared at the hospital bed, it seemed that her soul was missing from the drama that was happening around her. The drama that almost had her killed, I knew that some was after her but until she speaks it jogs her memory, I guess we would never know what went wrong. I have had to hold on the investigation because I wanted her to speak, to say something other than the immense need to know what was happening around her. She needed to tap into her memory so she could remember. I wasn't willing to let things slide, just because she had
Alpha Asher I think of her every now and then. The fact she was just out there, alone and still in pain scared the hell out of me. I do not know why I do not want to give up but there was something about her that just didn't make sense. All I had to do was cling to whatever sanity I gave left, to what I know and what worked best for my thoughts. I have been sending the patrol over and over, to clear the area without stumbling on anyone's territory. There was no reason to raise a suspicion when nothing was sure yet, everyone was on search. The investigation was inconclusive. Our main priority was finding Reyna and making sure she was alive at the end of the day. It's been days and confusion was having the best of me. The pressure was so high on my neck that I could literally feel like my neck would snap any minute now. I sighed hearing a knock on the door. I didn't answer because I knew the scent. I wasn't in the mood to fight or keep tabs of what people might think of me. "Hey
Alpha Asher. After the supposed meeting that they held, I was furious. I needed to break something, I felt the strong weight on my shoulders and it was like I was in a well trying to reach out to the surface but each time I tried, I always fell back in. There was nothing that could take away the sinking feeling, I started breaking anything I could put my hands on. My wolf side was enraged because the weight of betrayal was pinned heavily on me. I heard footsteps stomping towards my door, I knew he was the one. Hayden didn't take the time to knock on my door. He barged in, I could spot a crease in between brows. "How dare you!" I growled at him. His face softened as his eyes glanced at the room, the nasty smile formed in his face making me want to rip him apart without any form of remorse. It was the idea of blood joining us together that was what I respected. It was his irrational decisions that gave me a sense of responsibility over him but he was overstepping his boundaries becaus
