A win is a win

/Brian’s POV/

My eyes snaps open to Meelah screaming with an horrified expression plastered on her face next to me, and that makes me look around the room frantically while stil really sleepy to see if I can identify problem fast so that I will be able to go back to sleep.

“What made you scream? I ask her after looking around for a while without the trace of anything strange only for her to gulp nervously.

“Did you have a nightmare? Or you were stung by an insect” I try to predict what must have gone wrong on her end to warrant such a loud scream.

“ that is not the point here” she finally speaks making my brows furrow in confusion

“So what is the point?” I question her because I am very sure that I didn’t dose off so there is no way she must have said something and I must have answered something contrary, do I want to believe that she is the one that is not making a complete sentence.
