Chapter 31 Going head-to-head with her

Natalie was frightened at the Windsor family's old mansion and had been feeling down all day. She returned to her room early in the evening.

As she passed by the master bedroom, her steps hesitated. Oliver hadn't returned yet, and the main building of the Rosewood Estate was softly lit, just like usual.

It wasn't until he reached the bedroom door that he noticed a paper stuck on the door panel with a string of words written on it: [Mr. Windsor, I made tomato spaghetti for you in the fridge as a late-night snack, thank you very much!] The handwriting was elegant and pleasing to the eye.

Oliver tore off the note and was about to throw it in the trash. But his fingertips hesitated, and he inexplicably took a few steps to the bedside table, putting it in the drawer.
