Tally felt as if Kathryn's carelessness had rubbed off on her spending so much time together. She had prepared the report and thought she could temporarily deceive Chris. But the tampered report was still in her possession.

Meanwhile, the report that should have been kept away from Chris was already in front of him. She hoped that Chris would be as careless as Kathryn. This way, he wouldn't notice the report until they retrieved it.

"Will you really be able to get the car keys?" If Kathryn went, she could tell Chris that she left something in the car, but what reason could Tally use?
