Dr. Johnson had the west wing of the hospital ready to receive the she-wolves we rescued. We rescued twenty she-wolves last night, all their injuries vary from depression to medically induced coma. Trevor paced back and forth outside of the surgery center waiting to hear from Dr. Johnson on Alexis' condition.

"Sit down Trevor you are wearing out the floorboards with all this pacing. She is a fighter."

"I can't sit. I want to run in there and stop them from hurting her. I can feel her pain. She's scared, Louis. I need to tell her I'm out here waiting for her. Please let me go in there."

While Trevor was a frantic mess, I whispered in a passing doctor's ear to bring me a sedative to put him to sleep. Trevor was an emotional wreck. He was no good to me in this condition. His mind was consumed by the well-being of Alexis.
