Chapter 35

It's been a week and Malakai and Eden had never been happier. They continued with their usual routines of their jobs, the orders and the killing. And when Eden would come back to report. she would get something as a reward.

She would also spend a lot of time at Malakai's house. She tried to avoid talking to Alec too much since she knew he would go back to the topic of Malakai. Eden still had classes but not too many now since it was nearing the end of the year.

It was all going smoothly. Until it wasn't.

Eden was currently driving home from university, yes still Malakai's car, when she received a message from an unknown number. The message immediately made her pull over and grab her phone.
