"These what ifs are getting us nowhere. Why don't we try finding out hmm?" Malakai nodded and started typing out a text. "Li-li?" He said and Eden smiled. That must've been Malakai's nickname for her, it was adorable. "Kai?" The reply was almost instant like she was waiting. That's why Malakai loved it when Eden called him Kai, his sister used to call it him too. Not many people call Malakai Kai, probably only Eden and Alec. Eden had her arm around Malakais neck since her legs were over Malakai's lap so she could see. Without hesitation, Malakai clicked the 'call' button and waited for a few seconds before Lilith picked up. "I-is it really you?" Malakai said, the tears in his eyes building up. "Yeah." That single word response made Malakai sob out in relief, the tears freely flowing through his voice. "I'll see you soon big brother." Lilith said and hung up. What? Soon? Lilith texted and called to let them know she was alive. That was the only explanation Malakai had.

2 days later Eden and Malakai were the best they could've been. They still had some answers they wanted but other than that, it didn't seem like anything was getting in the way. It was all a blur for Eden. She passed out as soon as she felt her boyfriend's arms catch her. She was losing blood quickly. Alec cursed out loud, seeing Eden like this hurt him too, a lot more than he thought. But Kai wasn't in the right state of mind right now, so he had to take over. As soon as Malakai had come to his senses again, he picked up the blond haired girl and rushed her to the infirmary. Astrid ran to her side, trying to stop the blood. Another nurse attended to Ethan. The next day after breakfast, Malakai and Eden went to the agency together and Malakai called everyone to his office. By everyone I mean Eden, Alec, Astrid, Aiden and Ethan, and a couple other agents, Ten, Ambrose, and Jules. "Okay, last night a threat form Elijah was sent in again. It seemed Malakai had realised he needed to do something. He suddenly burst into his own office where Alec was sitting, Aiden and Astrid were also there. They all looked shocked. Normally it would be so difficult to even get him out of the room and away from Eden. "Kai?" Aiden called out. He was just as concerned as Malakai, but Malakai just a little more. "I want him dead. I don't care how but he needs to be in hell" Malakai said in a dark voice that would send shivers down anyone's spine. The look in his eyes, not something to be messed with. Of course the others knew who he was referring to. They had been trying to track him down. "We're already looking at Malakai. It's all Alec and I have been doing. We'll find him" Aiden said to the elder. Malakai sighed and sat down at his desk. He couldn't bear to see Eden in that state any longer or he would've gone insane. He looked around the room and knew the others had things to say but he couldn't be bothered to answer. "
