~ Roxy's POV ~

I was really anxious to get back to New York. I can’t believe Cole talked to my father. We barely talk about our families. It wasn’t really something that we enjoy discussing. Ever since the free clinic was opened and my relationship with Cole was made public Cole went back to his old habits. He quit working at the publishing company since he wasn’t really passionate about it. He just continued running the bar.

I honestly didn’t care. I love him and everything about him including his flaws. He supports me with my job and the things that I want to achieve. I finished my residency and became an attendee at the hospital. I became busy and he never fails to take care of me. He is sweet and loving. I didn’t know what I did to be so lucky to have him in my life. I made sure that he has my undivided attention whenever we are together. Nothing else matter
