Her head was throbbing. Terribly. And her eyes were bloodshot, red, puffed and painfully sloped. She hadn't winked throughout the night, sleep didn't come, and she didn't force it to. Her heart was a jumble of emotions that were riling her up, emotions that had no meaning, and some that she honestly regret ever feeling.

How had she been this gullible? Gullible enough to actually believe that AbdulRasheed was different. He was nothing less than Abubakar, perhaps, he was even worse than Abubakar. Because he had caught her off guard when she was vulnerable, when she was least expecting it. He had thoroughly shattered her to pieces, and this time around, she was sure that nothing or no way would be able to fix her.

But what if he was the one telling the truth and not Nana? What if Nana was the one telling the truth? She groaned in frustration, clearly, she was confused, and had no way of knowing.

Unless, she decides to at least, listen to what Abdul wanted to say, which she wasn't actually
