"What?" Theodore came to a sudden halt as he heard her speak, or rather, stutter, struggling to convey her thoughts while lost in deep contemplation.

"Send me back to my university too," Irene pleaded, her voice tinged with weariness as she anticipated his reaction.

However, she had no desire to return to the university, especially not in her current injured state. But that didn't mean she was willing to stay here either.

If she were to mention going back to her apartment, she doubted he would even consider it. So, it was better not to bring it up and approach the situation differently.

"Have you lost your mind?" Theodore asked calmly, convinced that she had indeed lost her sanity.

"Huh?" Irene's face twisted in confusion, unable to comprehend his cryptic remark.

Who said she had lost her mind? If anything, it was him who seemed to have lost his wits.
