His Another Anger

My breath hitched harshly at the sight of Axe just standing stiffly beside the display case of painting supplies. The man stared at me silently with his arms folded in front of his chest. It seemed like he was still thinking about my sudden change in attitude. All the way here, Axe kept peppering me with questions. Really. Do all those men never realize their mistakes?

The last time we were at the office, I immediately pushed his body to have access to the steps. I didn't want to become public fodder, to be precise. The Axe employees must have judged me as a seductress. Moreover, one of them actually gave me a disapproving look. Her gaze clearly said she was annoyed that I was next to Axe. Maybe she likes Axe. I don't know, I'm too lazy to think about that. It's better now that I carry my groceries to the front. I can rest afterward, I'm tired from being out for so long.

"You're welcome," I said as the well-dressed clerk handed me my items that were already neatly arranged in the bag
