48.Freedom for the Darkness Within

I held my bag to my chest as I walked, hurrying along the ground as silently as I could even though no one was around to hear me.

My heart banged in my chest and I thought that I was going to die with the tension flowing in my bloodstream. My thoughts shouted in my head that the werewolves were going to kill me and tear my body from limb to limb if Mia reported me missing and they searched and found me here.

I wasn't going to like what would happen to me and I wouldn't have any excuse. I couldn't say that I was bored and that was why I was moving around in the darkness all alone. There was a party going on which I intentionally chose not to be a part of. They were going to ask me what I was doing in the house and no one would believe that I didn't have an agenda.

I didn't think I have the strength in me to confess or deny under torture. I hoped that they didn't catch me until I had found the master. He would be able to save both of us if that happened.
